Mt Kenya Hike (Sirimoni trail)
There are three routes for hikers interested in Mount Kenya hiking. The Sirimoni trail is the most scenic hiking route on Mountain Kenya and is also the longest route to point Lenana. Hiking through this route lets the hiker to enjoy the beauty of alpine vegetation the whole way. Sirimoni trail is also the driest of the three main routes while hiking Mt Kenya though once you reach the Mackinder’s Valley, it becomes much easier.

The calving season starts in the open plains of Serengeti in Tanzania between the months of January and mid-March before the Wildebeest migration heads towards the western Serengeti in June. Recommended time to see the migration is between June and August when the wildebeest come together in preparation to get across the famous Grumeti River.
