4 Days Uganda Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Rainforests
Day 1: Arrival in Kampala (Please advice on your flight arrival time)
Kenya Safari Places representative will meet and welcome you to Uganda, at Entebbe International airport, before transferring you to your hotel accommodation. If time allows, you will take an optional City tour around cultural and religious attractions in Kampala City or Entebbe. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation in Kampala (FB)
Day 2: Kampala – Bwindi Impenetrable Forests National Park
Today, after a short briefing from your safari guide or driver, you will leave your lodge/hotel as early as 6:00am, and drive heading south-west to Bwindi Mountain Gorillas Park. Enjoy a short photograph taking opportunity and informative talk at the Equator before continuing to Mbarara where you will stop for lunch. After your lunch meal, drive through Uganda’s rolling green hills and highlands – popularly known as the Switzerland of Uganda. While on your way, see the triangular peaks of the Virunga volcanoes of Rwanda and Congo. Upon arrival in Bwindi Impenetrable Forests – home of the Mountain Gorillas – you will be guided to your accommodation where you will check in, have dinner and spend the overnight. (Full Board)
Day 3: Mountain Gorilla trekking in Bwindi 
Have an early morning breakfast, before your safari guide transfers you to the registration and briefing point, from where you start the Gorilla trekking in the rainforests of Bwindi. As you prepare for the gorilla trek, you ought to carry some packed lunch from your accommodation, drinking water, wear comfortable boots or jungle shoes suitable for muddy and/or steep slopes, put on ear plugs for those who feel uncomfortable with jungle sounds and take a rain jacket.
Walking sticks act as support while hiking and are available for those that require them, from the park rangers at a small fee (for hire or for sale). Mountain Gorilla tracking is a little strenuous but an exciting adventure – especially when you meet the gorillas. Duration spent trekking is unpredictable and can last from 2 hours to a whole day. You will get back to your lodge, exhilarated to retrieve the encounter with friends over a relaxing drink. If you complete the trekking early enough, you can go for an optional village walk or community walk to see the lifestyle of the local people in Bwindi, visiting the medicine men. Have dinner and overnight at the lodge or safari camp (Full Board)
Day 4: Bwindi Mountain Gorillas Park – Kampala
Get an early breakfast before transferring back to Kampala en-route Mbarara town – where you will have your lunch, then continue on your journey arriving Kampala Capital City in the late evening. Once in Kampala, your safari guide will drive and drop you off at your preferred destination or to the airport.
